This application gives the advantage of being able to compensate for any irregularity in the radius of the wall.

Keep in mind that all the photos are of cornice just after installation and BEFORE painting. We do dap or caulk all joints top, bottom and sides.  Once they are painted, the shading is unnoticeable.

Calculating angles for curved walls presents several challenges, the radius angles at the top of the cornice is greater than the radius at the bottom.  For this reason, even if we did have flexible rubber material available, it would not work.  The only method is to cut and test 6" pieces at a time, there is no miter chart for this, simply trial, error and lots of practice.

Baseboards, on the other hand, are faster to install because they only flex one way. We offer many flexible profiles.  Call for details.
